MR ESPRESSO

If you like the smell of coffee you're probably going to really like this. A black coffee scent blended with chocolate notes and a smooth not too powdery iris note. The dry down is reminiscent of Armani Code Parfum because of the Tonka beans. Everything is blended very well. Such a great scent

I'll start off by saying I was absolutely against this coffee project from the start. Omar said in a post once that he didn't see any coffee fragrances on the market. Well he obviously wasn't looking hard enough. The market was bloated with many and it seemed as though Omar was very late to the coffee party. Why did I get this fragrance if I'm against it? I am a collector of fragrance and I have nearly all of the Atrium line so of course I had to get this. I did get the notorious Mr Mesmeric after all! The smell. I honestly didn't know what to expect so when I got it and sprayed it I was mortified. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY NICHE!! I'm quite sure other content creators like Milan Scent and Brandscents would roll in this like a dog would roll in poop. On strip this thing is harsh and smells like funky toffeeish coffee popcorn with a strange saltiness lingering in the background. The coffee at first is not the big star. It took me time and some confidence gathering to spray it on my skin. I still had the eye watering opening but after an hour the drydown actually brought me back. That coffee note popped off better and the nasty harsh opening smoothed out a lot making it wearable. I was saying this was Omar's worst release originally but after giving it a few tries I will say it's the second to the worst release he's made. Mostly because it takes time to let this develop on skin and not everyone today has time to wait for that drydown. Mr Mesmeric is still safe at number one worst. I give this 5 stars because of the creativity and the drydown on skin only which really matters. -2 stars for that opening.

Omar, you have, once again, knocked it out of the park. This could be my most favorite scent to date. I LOVE the coffee/chocolate scent, it is amazing and so long lasting. This is definitely a fantastic addition to any collection. Thank you for creating this masterpiece!

I’m blown away by this scent. I’ve worn Mr. Espresso four times now, and every single wear has left me more obsessed… it’s absolutely addicting. The warm, roasted coffee notes blended with rich spice and smooth sweetness make this feel like fall in a bottle, but elevated. It somehow manages to be cozy, confident, and sexy all at once.

I own Mr. Debonair, Mr. Mesmeric, and Mr. Momentum, and while each one has its own charm, Mr. Espresso is hands down my favorite. It’s honestly criminal that this fragrance is limited edition. Omar… please make this a permanent staple in the line. I’ll be rocking it hard this fall… while rationing it carefully because I don’t have a backup (and now I’m kicking myself for that).

This one is unreal; a true standout in the Atrium lineup.

It is a lovely spicy-sweet fragrance, but it was marketed as a dark, black coffee kind of fragrance and smells nothing like that at all. If I really try to relate it to a coffee drink, then maybe a chai latte?
