MR RADIANCE

Beautifully constructed follow-up to Mr. Maritime.
This creation removes the rhubarb & the creaminess of the sandalwood and tonka from it's predecessor and adds in a fantastic Cambodian oud and ambergris in its place to create a more mature upscale version of this DNA.

Where Mr. Maritime had you feeling like you were relaxing on the beach, Mr. Radiance transports you on a boat out on the open waters. I feel this one will lean more towards the 30+ crowd & the younger guys will probably gravitate to Mr. Maritime.

It starts out with a fresh, bright, citrus blast with the mango leaf and patchouli coming in soon after. The oud note becomes more prominent about an hour into the dry down, never overpowering or aggressive, if anything I wish it were a little higher dosed as I enjoy this beautiful woody note. A couple of hours into the dry down the marine notes & ambergris take a more forward place and an oceanic saltiness emerges from the background and the scent transforms to a salty, aquatic, oud & mango fragrance.

Really wish I had been able to sample Mr. Radiance first as I would rather have a full bottle of this in my collection vs Mr. Maritime (which I absolutely love...) but I personally feel owning both would be a bit redundant in my collection.

I do feel this one is a bit overpriced for what you get, even though this one has high quality ingredients, I'm not sure why it is listed as the highest price fragrance in all of Atriums offerings.

The ingredients and blend are sublime like all Atrium creations I have worn but the performance is sub-par, especially for the price point.

6-7 hours longevity with a soft projection, more of a personal/intimate scent than anything others will notice. You will definitely need to re-apply if you want it to last all day.

I would love to see this one reformulated to make it stronger with a little more push and a more prominent use of the oud note, such a wonderful representation of well blended oud to just be hidden in the background.

For the perfumery I give this one a solid 9/10, performance wise, I couldn't give it more than a 6/10 though for an overall score of 7.5/10.

Full bottle worthy only if you don't already own Mr. Maritime.

I must say I was skeptical about this one because maritime did extremely well for me so it felt that this will be redundant to say the least, but Mr. Radiance surprised me and delivered yet another unique take on Mango. I just want to say this one is much better and less loud than Mr maritime and where there is inspiration, the end result is quite different in terms of vibe. I use this easily every day at work and I don't mind using it in the fall. I got the most complements on this one, and I wore it during a wedding and I got asked about it tens of time. Then, several friends asked for the link to buy it. I am not gonna dig in the ingredients here, but it's not sweat not too projecty but rather long lasting with fresh sweet light radiance with a luxury feel to it. I would easily recommend this to most people but note that it's rather niche than Mr maritime and it's more formal. If you are young or a beach guy, Mr maritime is best, but otherwise Mr radiance is a potential signature.

Really nice mature fresh fragrance, the oud and mango combo is quite nice and well executed. I am giving it a 4 stars because I do think Mr Maritime was the better fragrance with that strong mango note.

I’m very happy with my purchase of Mr Radiance. It’s the summer fragrance that’s classy and refined. Aquatic and tropical in one with good longevity. Well done Omar.
